Nukada Brewery and Yasato distillery are both owned by Kiuchi Brewery which is a maestro in the Japanese craft beer field. In 1823, the founder, Gihei Kiuchi started to produce Sake from the remaining rice after his tax payment with rice. The company decided to obtain own facilities to produce whiskey, spending 400 million yen, Yasato Distillery which has 12 times production ability was constructed. Yasato Distillery has been operating since the spring of 2020. The company with enough knowledge and space is expected to be successful in the field of whiskey production as its experiences built in producing Japanese craft beer.
