Osuzuyama Distillery

The shochu brewery, the predecessor of Osuzuyama distillery, was opened by Kuroki headquarter in 1998. It was changed to the distillery in 2019 and started to produce whiskeies. There is located in the mountainous area of ​​Miyazaki Prefecture. It takes about 30 minutes by car from Kuroki headquarter where is in Takanabe City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and there is near the Pacific Ocean. Osuzuyama Distillery is located upstream of the river to be used the water from them, so the water quality is very soft, and you can expect high quality whiskey to be produced. Gin has been produced in Miyazaki Prefecture, but this is the first attempt to produce whiskey.
